German-Indo music and cultural festival organised | Pune News – Times of India



PUNE: Music and dance lovers from across Asia including those from Pune will attend the “Sounds of Rainbow” concert organised by Parliament Member of Frankfurt in Germany Rahul Kumar at Saalbau BiKuZ on May 11 from 5 pm to 11 pm. A statement issued by the organisers of the event stated that “The eighth edition of this extraordinary music festival will be held on Saturday.The air will be filled with the sounds and rhythms from across India, celebrating the deep bond between India and Germany.”
Kumar said i nthe statement, “The magic of music and dance knows no bounds – it creates bridges across oceans and continents. At “Sounds of Rainbow,” the sounds of Indian music blend with the modern beats of the German music spectrum to create a harmonious melody of friendship. It’s more than just a festival; it’s a tribute to the deep cultural bond between India and Germany, characterized by mutual inspiration and respect.”
For eight years now, “Sounds of Rainbow” has opened its doors to bring people of different backgrounds and origins together, creating an atmosphere of unity. Under the motto of a musical rainbow reflecting the diversity of the world, the festival provides a platform for artists from both countries to showcase their talents and touch the hearts of the audience. For the first time, the renowned artist from Punjab, India, Lehmber Hussainpuri, will be performing with his band. He is already well-known throughout India for his outstanding live shows.
The Saalbau BiKuZ Höchst will be the vibrant venue for this transcultural celebration, organized with passion and dedication by the local association “KfK e.V., added the statement. Admission to the festival is free to give everyone the opportunity to participate in this unique experience.
Dignitaries such as Deputy Chief Minister Mansoori, Lord Mayor Josef, Consul General of the Republic of India Mubarak, City Parliament Head Ms. Arslaner, Member of the National Bundestag Zorn, Member of the State Parliament Yüksel, Sri Swami Upashak from England, and many other representatives and officials from various cultural associations across Germany are expected to attend.
