Harry Kane thinks player Liverpool sold for £27.5m is the world’s second best

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane rates former Liverpool forward Sadio Mane really highly, as reported by The Mirror.

The Mirror have reported how Tottenham and England international striker Kane voted in the FIFA Best awards.

The FIFA Best awards are determined by media representatives, national team coaches, national team captains and supporters.

According to The Mirror, Tottenham striker Kane voted for Paris Saint-Germain and Argentina international forward Lionel Messi as the best player in the world.

Messi won the Ligue 1 title with PSG last season and the 2022 Qatar World Cup with Argentina in December 2022.

Mane, who joined Bayern Munich from Liverpool for £27.5 million (Sky Sports), was the second pick for Kane.

The 30-year-old forward won the FA Cup and the EFL Cup with Liverpool last season and also helped the Reds reach the final of the UEFA Champions League.

Mane won the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal in February 2022 as well.

The forward did not play for Senegal at the 2022 Qatar World Cup due to injury.

Kane’s third vote went to Karim Benzema, who helped Real Madrid win the La Liga title and the UEFA Champions League last season.
