NBA Player Props Today – Our Best Bets for March 4

The attention may be on Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid tonight, but there’s tons of value on Brook Lopez when he steps on the floor tonight in Milwaukee. Find out why in our daily NBA player props.
We’ve got a relatively quiet Saturday in the NBA with just six games on the betting board, but if you dig into the player props, there are still plenty of wagers to consider.
Today I’m backing an underrated big man in Milwaukee while also betting on another center to rack up assists against a leaky defense. For the finale, I’m expecting Anthony Edwards to leave you feeling more entertained than the latest Marvel movie.
Here are my best free NBA player prop picks for March 4.

Splash Mountain
Two of the best teams in the NBA square off at the Fiserv Forum tonight when the Milwaukee Bucks host the Philadelphia 76ers. All eyes will be on MVP candidates Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid, but there’s another big man that’s been playing an integral role for his team.
I’m talking about Milwaukee center Brooks Lopez, who is averaging 14.7 points per game on 51% shooting this season. Lopez has scored at least 13 points in each of his last five games and is averaging 20.6 ppg over that span, which makes the O/U of 12.5 on his points today seem a tad low.
Sure, the 76ers have a good defense, but Lopez had success against them in the two previous meetings this season. He scored 17 points in the season opener and dropped 15 points when these teams clashed in November.
Brook Lopez prop: Over 12.5 points (-110)
Zach attack
From two of the best teams in the league to two of the worst, we’ve got the San Antonio Spurs hosting the Houston Rockets. These teams come in at the bottom of the league in defensive efficiency, which means we should see plenty of points at the AT&T Center.
The Rockets allow the third-most ppg in the league (118.5), with that number ticking up to 121.7 ppg on the road. Plenty of points for the Spurs should also mean plenty of assists, and one guy that has been dishing the ball lately is Zach Collins.
San Antonio’s big man has seen his minutes surge following the trade of Jakob Poeltl and has been contributing in a variety of ways. Collins has dropped at least four dimes in five of his last seven games and is averaging 4.3 assists per game over that span.
Take the Over 3.5 on his assists total.
Zach Collins prop: Over 3.5 assists (-122)
Ant-Man vs the Conquering Kings
Anthony Edwards is having a breakout season for the Minnesota Timberwolves and is averaging 24.6 ppg on 45.8% shooting from the field. The former first pick overall is the clear go-to scorer for the Timberwolves right now with Karl-Anthony Towns still sidelined by a calf injury and pass-first point guard Mike Conley replacing D’Angelo Russell.
Edwards is actually in a bit of a slump right now and has averaged just 16.3 ppg over his last three games. However, he’s still taking 17.7 field goal attempts per game during that span and should be in line for some positive regression against Sacramento tonight.
The Kings are shockingly in third place in the Western Conference, but that’s mainly due to their highly-efficient offense. They’re still awful on the defensive end of the floor and that, combined with their speedy tempo, has resulted in them ranking 27th in the league with 118.2 ppg allowed.
Edwards scored more than 30 points in back-to-back contests against Sacramento earlier this year and should be able to eclipse his points total of 26.5 today.
Anthony Edwards prop: Over 26.5 points (-105)
