The NFL is set to release the 2024 schedule Wednesday night
, and there’s a chance the New York Giants are going overseas to play in Germany.
Though the league has yet to announce the overseas games as of this writing, the Giants are scheduled to play the Carolina Panthers at some point during the season. The league already announced the Panthers are among the teams “hosting” a game overseas.
It’s also notable that the Giants were awarded Global Markets Rights in Germany. It could be a coincidence or the league may have tipped its hand a bit.
The Giants have a slight history playing overseas. They battled the Miami Dolphins in the first-ever game in London at Wembley Stadium. They also defeated the Los Angeles Rams in 2016 at Twickenham and the Green Bay Packers in 2022 at Tottenham Hotspur.
The schedule isn’t officially released until Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. ET, but this might be something to keep an eye out for.
