The Green Bay Packers saw their season come to a close nearly two months ago, but star quarterback Aaron Rodgers has yet to make a decision regarding his NFL future. Though Rodgers hasn’t given much insight as to where he might play next year, most reports suggest he’s most likely to either return to the Packers or seek a trade to the New York Jets – but don’t tell Vegas that.

Despite numerous reports and a general belief that Rodgers will ultimately play for either the Jets or the Packers next season, it’s actually the Las Vegas Raiders who have the best betting odds to land Aaron Rodgers.

According to Points Bet Sportsbook, the Raiders are a -200 favorite to sign Rodgers, ahead of the Jets with +140 odds and the Tennessee Titans with +1000 odds.

This is pretty surprising news, given that the Raiders were reportedly moving on from pursuing Rodgers and the Jets have been so active in their pursuit of Rodgers. As a result, the NFL world had plenty to say about these surprising odds.

Based on Rodgers contract, he’ll most likely remain a Packer.

GB would have so much dead cap. Rodgers might only play 1-2 seasons, which is a huge risk for the Raiders and not worth giving up multiple picks.

The trade really makes no sense for either team.

Obviously, Rodgers has yet to formally announce his decision and nothing is set in stone until he does. But sportsbooks setting the Raiders are the betting favorite to land Rodgers is certainly an interesting development.
